Work on a long- awaited bridge to ease traffic in Folsom is about to get underway. City leaders broke ground on Folsom's new bridge across the American River today.
The four-lane bridge will be a direct route from Folsom and El Dorado County to Placer County. The project is expected to cost 115 million dollars.
