Rail Traffic Back to Normal

Normal commuter rail traffic resumed today along Amtrak's Capitol Corridor line between Sacramento and Auburn following the reconstruction of the burned American River train trestle, Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority officials said.
Capitol Corridor intercity passenger trains began using the newly restored tracks Sunday evening, in anticipation of resuming all regularly scheduled routes this morning.
