My husband said &#8216;Let&#8217;s stop.&#8217; We even almost hit a car,&#8221; said Vriseida Contreras of San Jose.<\/p>\n<p>By midday Sunday, Bridal Falls was a virtual tourist trap.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I like this place because it&#8217;s a beautiful place,&#8221; Anilya Medvedev said.<\/p>\n<p>For people like Charlotte Bauer, the journey to Bridal Falls brought back many good memories.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My husband and I used to drive by here for many years and it was often a place we stopped,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And it&#8217;s just very beautiful today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bay Area traveler Martha Chavez was quick to agree.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s very beautiful and we don&#8217;t seen this often in San Jose, so we had to stop,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Traveling higher in the Sierras, at the 5,000-foot mark, the road to Wrights Lake was nearly devoid of snow.
